Project (Prompt):
I was tasked with designing a series of menus for Inspirakids across Winter and Autumn, which would later be expanded into menus for Summer and Spring. The goal was to create a functional yet visually engaging system for meal planning.
Insight:
Each season required a distinct visual identity to reflect its unique characteristics while maintaining consistency across the full-year menu cycle. To enhance usability, a color-coded system was implemented, assigning specific colors to each day of the week, ensuring easy navigation and recognition for staff and children.
Solution:
The final menu designs featured seasonal-themed backgrounds tailored to each set of months, reinforcing the connection to fresh, seasonal ingredients. The structured, rotating weekly menu was supported by the color-coded system, optimizing accessibility and organization. This approach ensured that the menus remained intuitive, engaging, and adaptable for future seasonal updates.
